We started SYNAPS to make brain health a normal part of the training plan for young athletes in contact sport. The Protocol Journal exists for the same reason, to make brain health a normal part of the conversation.
Most of what gets written about young athletes’ brain health is either alarming or vague. Neither serves the parents and athletes living the question every Saturday morning. We want to do something different here:
- Plain-language summaries of the neuroscience behind ingredients, recovery, and resilience.
- Practical protocols for everything around the gummy, sleep, hydration, the post-match window, the off-season.
- Honest takes on what supplements can and can’t do. We won’t oversell. The brain is too important.
That’s what to expect. If there’s something you’d like us to cover, drop us a line, this journal will be better for it.
